DIRECTIONS FOR BEST RESULTS
With everyone’s endocannabinoid system being so different, each person finds their own sweet spot for the amount of CBD and microdose THC, and the best times of day to use it for their own health. We usually recommend one serving whenever you want to relax and unwind – but you may find a better schedule for your unique needs.
What’s the easiest way to get the right amount of CBD and THC into your system?
Our new Reserve Softgel Capsules.
By taking 2 softgel capsules per day, you get 25 mg of CBD along with 2.5 mg of Delta 9 THC.
Delta 9 THC is versatile, helping the CBD work better, and boosting your health. Even at low levels, THC can help protect the brain, lower discomfort levels, and provide balance across your system.
Let’s learn about how it all works.
CBD Softgels with THC: What is Full Spectrum CBD?
Full spectrum CBD oil is an extract made from the hemp plant. We use the clean and green method of CO2 extraction for full spectrum products because it’s the best way to capture everything that goes into a full spectrum hemp extract. This includes terpenes, fatty acids, and cannabinoids – CBG (cannabigerol), CBC (cannabichromene), and many others. We also prefer CO2 extraction because it’s better for the environment, easier on the plant, and allows for control of the extraction process. With a gifted extractor, a well-made hemp extract can contain over 500 bioactive molecules, and it’s where the term full-spectrum originates.
Once we’ve created the full spectrum hemp extract, and it goes through our rigorous testing process – including third-party testing – we put it into sugar-free vegan capsules. It’s the easiest way for you to harness all the power of full-spectrum hemp.
What is Delta 9 THC?
Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. It’s responsible for causing users to feel high and it acts via the many CB1 receptors in the human brain. Being a lipid – a fat, THC has been difficult to study. Its full structure took until 1964 to be solved by Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, the ‘father of the endocannabinoid system’. After its discovery, researchers created a way to make Delta 9 THC in the lab and this allowed for widespread safety studies. Surprisingly, they could find no known lethal dose in humans, dogs, or monkeys. The safety of Delta 9 THC and the other cannabinoids remain one of their most notable features. There are synthetic pharmaceuticals forms of THC approved for treating conditions such as nausea resulting from chemotherapy.
The Science of Microdosing THC
Although THC studies tend to observe higher doses for its psychoactive effects, studies demonstrate how helpful low doses can be for the body and brain. We know that low doses of THC help with neuroprotection. In mice experiencing age-related cognitive impairment, one ultra-low dose of THC helped to improve their memory and learning for the next 7 weeks. In addition, brain scans showed larger volumes and higher tissue density in their memory-related brain regions. Aged mice who received longer treatments with THC experienced similar results. Their behavioral effects improved, and they saw growth in their hippocampus, the memory center of the brain. This speaks to the ability of low-level cannabinoids to cause new brain growth.

PRODUCT FAQ’S
HOW LONG DOES DELTA-9 THC STAY IN YOUR SYSTEM?
Usually, delta-9 THC stays in your system for only a few days. However, because it’s a fat-soluble lipid, it can be detected up to a month after ingestion depending on an individual’s metabolism.
IS DELTA 9 THC LEGAL?
If delta-9 THC is sourced from a hemp plant – defined as a cannabis plant with less than 0.3% THC by dry weight – then it’s federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. The DEA has stated that it does not consider hemp extracts to fall under its mandate and the TSA allows people to travel with CBD-rich hemp extracts.
IS DELTA 9 THC SAFE?
Yes, the low amounts of THC are quite safe for consumption. While recreational cannabis may be very high in THC levels, the amount of THC found in hemp is quite low. Our products contain only a few milligrams of THC – enough to help the CBD to work better but not enough to cause psychoactive effects (unless someone is extremely sensitive). One of the most well-studied aspects of cannabinoids is their safety profile. We’re proud to offer these low safe levels of THC for our customer’s health.
WHAT DOES FULL SPECTRUM MEAN?
Full spectrum means a hemp extract that includes all of the components of a hemp plant: the minor cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, and THC, the terpenes that give the plant its flavor and smell as well as the fatty acids that the hemp plant uses to make its cannabinoids and that our bodies and brains use to produce our own endocannabinoids. Using a clean and green CO2 extraction system, we produce a full spectrum extract that captures all the health enhancing parts of the plant.
DOES FULL SPECTRUM CBD HAVE THC?
Yes. When creating a full spectrum hemp extract, we capture all of the components of the plant that we can and this includes THC. We believe in the power of microdoses of THC to help make the effects of the CBD more powerful as well as enhancing health all on its own.
WILL FULL SPECTRUM CBD MAKE YOU HIGH?
Very unlikely. With the very small levels of THC in a full spectrum hemp extract, it would usually take a very sensitive person to be taking very high serving sizes for any psychoactive effect of THC. For our Reserve products with a milligram or two of THC, it’s still quite rare for any psychoactive effects to be felt.
HOW MUCH IS A MICRODOSE OF THC?
Microdosing refers to the practice of taking very tiny portions of a substance and for THC, it’s typically considered between 1 and 2.5 milligrams. Edibles, tinctures, and oils are three of the easiest ways to ensure you’re taking the proper amounts.
HOW LONG DOES THC WITH CBD STAY IN YOUR URINE?
For CBD, a 2020 study published in the Journal of Analytical Toxicology found that people who consumed a single dose of a standardized CBD formulation had detectable levels of CBD in their urine for four to five days after ingestion. For THC, a urine test can detect the presence of this cannabinoid for a period of 3 to 30 days after ingestion.
HOW DO CBD PILLS WORK?
CBD pills work via their effects on the human endocannabinoid system as well as other important systems such as serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins. In addition, the endocannabinoid system interacts closely with your immune system, your hormonal system & your neuronal system. Science continues to reveal the many ways that CBD helps with your health.
ARE CBD CAPSULES SAFE?
Although the safety profile of CBD is quite strong, CBD at high levels can cause side effects such as dry mouth, diarrhea, reduced appetite, drowsiness and fatigue. Discontinue use or lower your serving sizes if you experience any negative side effects.
DO CBD CAPSULES EXPIRE?
Yes, CBD capsules do expire. The expiration date can be found on each product. While in general, the cannabinoids are quite stable, the oil that carries them can go bad after a long period of time. For this reason, we always have an expiration date to ensure the highest safety.
HOW LONG DO CBD CAPSULES TAKE TO WORK?
The effects are usually felt within half an hour when taking it orally but at times when your metabolism is slow, it can take up to an hour or two to feel their effects.
ARE CBD PILLS EFFECTIVE?
Yes, while we can’t promise that they will help you with everything, there’s a reason that CBD has been exploding in popularity these last years. It works. We know it works not only from the thousands of years of human use and not only because of the large body of scientific literature about CBD but also because we hear about it from our friends and customers every day. CBD is a road to health.
